Join us
Membership for the club is managed through the British Cycling Management Tool. During initial sign-up all new members will need to create an online account with British Cycling.
During the registration you will need to accept the TRCC terms and conditions (link to pdf T&Cs). Members who are under 18 will require the consent of their parent/carer.

Terms & Conditions of membership

Membership is due from the 1st January each year unless you join after 1st October and then you will be given free membership for the following year.

Once membership expires, you will be notified by email/SMS/Twitter announcement that subs are due, and must renew with 28 days otherwise you will be deemed no longer a club member and your details will be removed from the club management tool.

All new membership and renewals should be applied for through the club subscription page hosted by British Cycling.

All members details will be held on British Cycling Management Tool. British Cycling or the club will not share your details with any 3rd party.

All new subscriptions will be either accepted or rejected by the Club Membership Secretary. Any person whose application to join the club is rejected has right to appeal in writing to the club Secretary.

If you have exceptional circumstances whereby you cannot apply for or renew membership using the British Cycling website then please email the Club Membership Secretary directly stating why you cannot apply online.

Liability insurance
As a club we recommend that all members join British Cycling to take advantage of the 3rd Personal Liability Insurance. The club is Insured for liabilities protecting new riders who may wish to join Towy Riders Cycle Club for limited trial sessions until you become a member of TRCC. you as an individual are not covered so we encourage you to apply for either 'Ride' or 'Race Silver' as a minimum. Other providers can offer personal liability insurance, and you should check their levels of cover carefully if An exception to this is if you are able to provide your own personal liability insurance, or are part of another organization such as the Cyclist Touring Club that offers the same protection.
